Chief Financial Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Summary
Help build Maldona Equity’s finance engine from day one—owning cash flow, funding strategy, and rigorous financial due-diligence as we sprint toward a $2 billion enterprise-value goal through 100 U.S. acquisitions (core targets: $1 M–$5 M EBITDA, 20 %+ net margins).

Key Responsibilities (5-7)

  1. Lead Financial Due Diligence – Direct and execute thorough quality-of-earnings, working-capital, and risk analyses for every deal (immediately for our first acquisition now in diligence).

  2. Capital Strategy & Treasury – Design centralized cash-management, debt structuring, and equity planning that support our buy-and-hold model and A/B capital-stack approach.

  3. Reporting & Controls – Build scalable accounting, FP&A, and investor-grade reporting systems across holding-company and subsidiary levels.

  4. Deal Modeling & Valuation – Create and refine LBO models, post-close integration budgets, and scenario analyses to guide go/no-go and refinancing decisions.

  5. Stakeholder Communication – Present clear financial insights to the CEO, board, banks, and investors, ensuring alignment on KPIs and covenant compliance.

  6. Risk & Compliance – Establish policies for tax optimization, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

  7. Finance Team Formation – Recruit and mentor future controllers, analysts, and treasury staff as acquisitions scale from 5-7 to 100.

Compensation & Upside

  • Base Salary: $70 K – $120 K (activates once we hit 5-7 closed acquisitions).

  • Equity: 2.5 % – 4.5 % of Maldona Equity (four-year vesting, one-year cliff).

  • Bonuses: Quarterly performance bonuses plus deal bonuses tied to each successful closing.

Why Join Now?
We are in live due diligence on our first acquisition and need a hands-on CFO who can drop into the numbers today, then scale with us to 100 companies and $2 B+ in combined value—while sharing materially in the upside.

DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT ALIGN WITH OUR JOB DESCRIPTION & VISION.
