Role Overview

We are seeking motivated and entrepreneurial Investor Relations Associates to join Maldona Equity’s Investor Relations team. This is a hands-on opportunity where you’ll help us identify, approach, and evaluate potential investment targets as part of our acquisition and roll-up strategy.

The Investor Relations Associate sources and engages investors for Maldona Equity’s Division 1 (Enterprise Platforms) and Division 2 (Private Equity Roll-Ups). Managing 2–3 active D1 deals under LOI and one full D2 roll-up at a time, this role delivers tailored pitch decks, books qualified meetings, and drives capital-raising efforts for each assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Investor Sourcing: Source and connect with potential investors on a deal-by-deal basis for both Division 1 (Enterprise Platforms) and Division 2 (Private Equity Roll-Ups).

  • Assigned Deals: Manage multiple concurrent assignments, including 2-3 active Division 1 deals under LOI and full responsibility for one assigned Division 2 roll-up, driving investor sourcing and engagement from initial contact to commitment.

  • Division 1 Investor Stack: Identify, qualify, and engage 3-5 investors per active Division 1 deal under LOI, ensuring alignment with deal size, structure, and target returns.

  • PE Roll-Up Research: Research and secure industry-specific investors for assigned Division 2 roll-up strategies, building targeted investor lists and outreach plans.

  • Investor Pitch Decks: Develop, customize, and deliver investor pitch decks and supporting materials for each deal, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.

  • Coordinate Investor Meetings: Coordinate and manage investor meetings, track follow-ups, and maintain accurate CRM records to support ongoing capital-raising efforts.

KPI Expectations

  • Develop and deliver all investor pitch decks accurately and on schedule.

  • Consistently book 3–5 qualified investor meetings per week for Enterprise Platform deals.

  • Consistently book 2–4 qualified investor meetings per week for Private Equity deals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field (or

    equivalent work experience).

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in investor relations, private equity, corporate finance, or capital markets.

  • Proficiency in financial concepts such as EBITDA, enterprise value, deal structures, and capital stack.

  • Experience with CRM software and investor tracking systems.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data to a non-technical audience

Compensation

This is a commission-based paid contractor role:

  • 1-2.5% of all capital raised per deal, paid upon each successful transaction: 25% upfront at closing and the remaining 75% distributed over 12 monthly installments.

  • Quarterly performance bonuses awarded at the discretion of the CEO.

  • Equity incentive: .5-2% holding company equity grant awarded upon successful completion of 5 assisted deals with capital injection within a specific timeline (vesting & cliff terms apply).

Growth Potential

  • Potential full-time promotion to Enterprise Investment Director, Private Equity Investment Director, or VP of Investor Relations.

  • Relocation costs to Las Vegas will be covered if promoted to a full-time Associate role.
